Henrique Lima Santos Neto is one of Brasília’s most accomplished guitarists — a virtuoso whose playing merges classical discipline with the improvisational spirit of Brazilian jazz. A composer, arranger, and educator, he is known for his lyrical phrasing, harmonic sophistication, and deep rhythmic awareness.
Henrique has collaborated with many of Brazil’s foremost instrumentalists and has been a key figure in the Brasília music scene for decades. His approach to the guitar bridges tradition and modernity, from the roots of choro and bossa nova to the colors of fusion and contemporary jazz.
In this Play With The Masters session, Henrique Lima Santos Neto unveils his creative process: voicings, right-hand articulation, rhythmic phrasing, and improvisational logic. Through performance and dialogue, he shares how the guitar becomes both a rhythmic engine and a storytelling voice.
